I pride myself on my manners. I think I have them and I flaunt them every day. Give me a please and I will thank it before it’s due. But putting aside the pleasantries, the artificial airs of affection, airing your dirty laundry in public…. I have a new pickle (to add to my mounting list of nuisances) Ignorance has been bliss as I really thought that such traits were part and parcel of being human. Recently, my current standards of etiquette (which I believe are above par) have been called into question with my OCD boyfriend raising doubt on my inability to screen aforementioned niceties…particularly with food.
Rushing to work this morning (which is ridiculous as I literally live but a hop skip and a jump from the office) were so many offenders that I really couldn’t put finger to keyboard without venting.

This week, I have discovered the most amazing app!
It’s called the Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock and it analyses your sleep patterns and only wakes you up in your lightest sleep phase – apparently making you more inclined to wake up feeling well rested and relaxed, not tired, wired or half asleep. Now why am I harping on about sleep this week?

All Australian fashion icons that are considered sexy and desirable by the media.
I, standing at a wholesome 163cm, do not even come close to resembling any portion of these aforementioned girls. Some might even say that I’m well below in stature and physique…and I would have to agree.
As a girl, living in Sydney I am surrounded by images of the perfect aesthetic. Everywhere I look….

I know for a lot of you food savvy girls your nemesis….Achilles heel…crack…(whatever you so choose to call your poison) comes in the form of a fizzy can of Diet Coke (aka Doke) Now I am not denying that this choice is not AS damaging to your waistline as it’s sugar ladened counterpart and I am also sure you are aware that you’re nixing the 10 teaspoons of sugar found in a regular fizzy beverage. However, you really should understand the whole body effect of fake sugar on your metabolism. It really isn’t as innocent as it seems. (I know, I know…you’ve heard this before…but I am going to be straight and put it in lay mans terms….)
