Overweight? Blame It On Your Hormones!

We tend to have scapegoats when it comes to our burgeoning bodies – work, family functions, time constraints, etc- but as it turns out you may be able to point the finger at your hormones if you are constantly battling the bulge.
According to Dr. Cohen, an international leader in nutritional medicine, obesity research and the founder of the ‘Cohen Diet’ there is substantial proof that those who are overweight could be facing this metabolic problem arising from hormonal imbalances.
The culprit hormones identified are HGH (human growth hormone), Insulin and Serotonin. These hormonal imbalances can be triggered by certain foods and/or combinations of foods.
Fortunately, through some years of testing, Dr. Cohen’s team found that once these hormones were rebalanced through proper nutritional therapy, weight loss occurred and was rapid, hence the ‘Dr. Cohen’s Rapid Fat loss and Weight Loss Diet’ was born.
After calling the office and receiving my informational packet, I discover that this diet is not based on calorie counting- rather, your blood is taken and analysed and a unique, individual plan is tailored.
There are several main keys to your success whilst on the program: drinking 2-3 litres of water a day, weighing food portions, and avoiding milk, alcohol and sugar. Also, you are not allowed to eat after 9 pm.
The stat from this diet (if followed strictly) shows that by 4 weeks 70% of clients lose between 7-10 kilos. And after speaking to a few individuals who completed the diet, this was confirmed. Everyone agreed it was the only diet that helped them lose heaps of weight.
The Cohen Diet does come at a price. At 800 bucks, it isn’t cheap- but this includes 6 month support, the individualized eating plan and blood test. And hey…perhaps a price tag can’t be put on changing your life and the way you feel about yourself.
After doing some research and hearing from personal accounts, the proof is in the pudding for the Cohen Diet.
